Perfume Bottle: Dragonfly

Dragonfly on small crystal perfume bottle, has been completed just in time for Mother's day.

This fun little piece has been drill and hand engraved, using a combination of intaglio and shaded engraving techniques to give actual and perceived depth to the engraving.

Initialed (JA) and dated ('15) under the bottom.

Something Special For Mum's

With Mother's Day rapidly approaching us here in NZ, I wanted to try something a little different, so here it is :-)

The rose has been sand-carved in multiple stages to give depth and shading to image.
