Something Special For Mum's

With Mother's Day rapidly approaching us here in NZ, I wanted to try something a little different, so here it is :-)

The rose has been sand-carved in multiple stages to give depth and shading to image.

Beer Mugs for Christmas - Possum and Stag Head

Stockman Beer Mug

This 500ml Munich Beer Mug has been drill (hand held) and hand engraved with a stockman (or drover).

This piece was not commissioned and was engraved purely for the pleasure of it.  It would make a fabulous Christmas gift for someone.

A pair of the lovely Rona Largo Champagne Flutes, the rose buds and leaves have been drill and hand engraved using "shaded" techniques, the lettering (including the date on the foot of each glass) sand-carved.

These were ordered all the way from the UK as a gift for a wedding here in NZ.












The Mosquito aircraft has been drill and hand engraved on a 500ml Munich Beer Mug, the lettering and key have been sand-carved (the key and date underneath the beer mug were engraved in reverse so they are the right way around when looking into the mug.

Volume: 200 mls
Giraffe is hand and drill (hand held) engraved.

Small crystal perfume bottle.  Engraved as a thankyou for a young man who went beyond the call of duty to help out a complete stranger.  Thank you Patrick!!  (the perfume bottle is a gift for his wife)  :-)

The butterflies have been sand-carved in 2 stages to give a darker shade to the filled in areas in the butterflies.

Quite a few of my customers have asked if can put the cake toppers on a base (rather than having a spike to secure them in the cake)... now I can :-)

Here's a couple of new designs with Kiwiana type graphics.  These are crafted (by me) from 3mm acrylic and the graphics and personalised messages are sand-carved.
